Mani Ratnam likely to acquire directors for this

As most of aware that the classical film maker Mani Ratnam in the verge of entering into the OTT platforms, the talk is that the maverick is holding talks with a few directors who can come on board and direct these episodes. Who will be the lucky ones, only time will tell.

Amazon Prime Video is said to be the platform that will stream this Mani Ratnam mega venture and the highlight is that the money collected through the show will go towards helping the workers from the film industry who have lost their livelihood due to the lockdown.

Right now, Mani Ratnam is busy with his magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, which has an ensemble of cast including Aishwarya Rai, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha and others. Music for the movie is by Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman. Arvind Swamy is busy with a string of movies.
