Review: Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi – Routine Zindagi
The movie, second in series by Ram -Director Kishore combination after the stellar movie- Nenu Shailaja, with a cast of Ram, Anupama, Lavanya Tripathi and Sri Vishnu has raised high success hopes in the Tollywood.Let us take a close view as to whether the film stands up to the industry expectations.
Story:
The hero, Abhiram ( Ram) lived by the maxim that a true friend was one who stood by you at all times. His childhood friend Vasu ( Sri Vishnu)was one such whom defended whatever may be his faults and complaints.Abhiram was also a Music lover and launched a rock band with four friends. As leader of the rock band, his smooth life is disturbed with the entrance of girlfriend Maha( Anupama who was also a music fan and gets closer to Abhi and they fall in love.
During the course of Abhi also finds out that his childhood friend Vasu also liked Maha but both express their love to Maha. All the audience have to watch on the screen is whose love Maha accepts and the end of the love climax.
Plus points:
Rams acting
Music by Devi Sri
Episodes between Ram
Sri Vishnu and Mah
Minus points :
The story, Slow narration, Performance of actors.
Cast Performance :
*Ram in Abhi role is laudable, with a childhood friend, college life, and post-college life.Scenes between both are profoundly brought out.Ram as an adorable friend has stunned everyone with his acting, Dance, love, sentiment- in all categories he has bagged good ratings.
* Sri Vishnu as Rams best friend has given a rosy performance.
* Anupama in Maha role has captured the attention of the audience. Her eyes are expressive and given life to the role.
* Lavanya Tripathi has stolen scenes with Oomphs and hot appearances
* Friends Priyadarsi, Kiriti, and Kaushik have done justices to their roles
Technical
* Devi Sri Music is captivating both in audio and also the background .Though a slight change in trend, it is pleasing to hear and also visually appealing.
* Samir Reddy [photography is another highlight of the film
* Lot of aberrations in Srikar Prasad editing. Sometimes fast moving and slow narrations in some. But for this routine connectivity, the film could have got good talks.
* Production values sail with the storyline.
* Now more about direction: Though director Kishore Tirumala has highlighted the friendship concept in a single line theme, it appears routine for the naked eye. He could not display the strong bonds of friendships between Abhi and Vasu and thus without the dramatics – film appears very plain, and boring. The story appears long in the first half and audience yearned for interval soon. In the second half, the track of Lavanya Tripathi was very weak.A failed lover boy needs strong reasons and scenes to justify his second love.In this film, it just happened casually. The story appeared listless, old wine in new bottle and just carried on.
Finally
In the backdrop of Nenu Shailaja, Kishore Tirumala make of VOZ, dropped disappointment on all as it was a run of the mill film without any freshness.Though Devi Sri music is enjoyable.Anupama glamour is dazzling.Lavanya was hot, hot at her best. Ram was as ever energetic. In a nut shell, Vunnadi Okate Zindagi sounded like Vacchindi Routine Zindagi.
