Was Kamal Hassan the first choice for this gigantic movie?

It is known that ROBO sequel has been in the news and making tides across the industries right from its inception. It is learnt that, director Shankar has approached top Hollywood actors for the antagonist role for a grandeur film ROBO 2.0, One has to accept that a magnum opus like ROBO 2.0 should include a giant personality against super star Rajinikanth.

It is recently said that, Shankar has already consulted Hollywood fame Arnold Schwarzenegger .There were also rumours that this movie should have such huge stars like him who could justice to this movie but later determined as it is just a fake news.

It is also said that, In order to rope in for the character, Shankar has not only approached few but many. Finally Akshay Kumar has okayed the character.Akshay Kumar will surely be the special attraction in the movie.

Meanwhile in a press meet, Shankar himself has mentioned that, he has reached out to the universal star Kamal Hassan too for the role as they had worked together in the antagonist and protagonist roles in starting phase of their careers. But this time, Kamal seems to have refused to the role that has been offered to him.Finally,Akshay Kumar has accepted the offer and roped into the film ,that we all know.

However, Shankar also mentioned that he will definitely team up in a sequel to his film “Bharatheeyudu”and work with Kamal Hassan soon.

Like every one of you, we are also eagerly waiting for ROBO 2.0 …
