Is Varma focusing on Tamil Politics ?

The most controversial director does not seem to be satisfied with the biopic of Lakshmi’s NTR . Latest with the poster of the Tamil Nadu late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and her companion Shashikala, has officially announced his next project.This is touted to be based on the relation between both ladies.

Now that Varma is doing the highlight of the film in the wake of many controversies and suspicions behind Jayalalithaa’s death, the film will also increase the interest of Amma fans including Telugu Tamil film industries.

On the other hand,Based on Jayalalitha’s life, already Priyadarshini is directing ‘The Iron Lady’, as well as director A.L Vijay ‘Thalivi’. Now that Varma entered the club of doing her biopic ,this should compete against these biopics.

However,You never know when Varma changes his plate .It remain to be seen as to how serious Varma is about the film.
