Not Lavanya but Shruthi for Pawan

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback in Tollywood with Vakeel Saab, the official Telugu remake of Hindi blockbuster flick, Pink. Director Venu Sriram has been considering a handful of heroines to play a cameo in the film.

According to reports, Venu Sriram has found his heroine in Shruti Haasan. Initially, the makers had considered Lavanya Tripathi, Ileana D’Cruz and Pooja Hegde to play Pawan Kalyan’s pair in the film. However, they zeroed in on Shruti to play a cameo in the film.

Shruti was the heroine in “Gabbar Singh” and she will now be pairing up with Pawan Kalyan in his comeback movie as well.

Shruti Haasan has immediately agreed to this extended guest role as she needs big projects to save her career. Shruti Haasan will join the shoot in the next schedule.
