Hero Karthikeya leverages the lockdown

After scoring a monstrous success with Ajay Bhupathi’s romantic-thriller “RX 100”, Kartikeya Gummakonda went on a signing spree in Telugu cinema. However, none of his following films managed to create a solid impact at the box-office. In 2019, the 25-year-old actor also tried his luck as an antagonist in Nani’s Gang Leader. Though the revenge drama ended up as an average grosser, Kartikeya was well appreciated for his villainy performance.

While the outbreak of coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown has led to the total shutdown of the film industry, all actors have been confined to their homes.

However, making good use of his quarantine, Kartikeya has worked rigorously hard on his body and eventually acquired a ripped look with six-pack abs.

This transformation is said to be for his next film ‘Valimai’, Ajith’s Tamil film. Kartikeya is playing the main villain’s role in this Tamil drama.
