Ram Gopal Varma has released the trailer of his upcoming Telugu production titled “Coronavirus”, which deals with the pandemic and the lockdown as its subject. On Tuesday evening, the filmmaker took to Twitter to release a four-minute trailer of the movie, which has been completely shot amid the lockdown. The film deals with the story of a family amid the lockdown.

The film is touted to be the first film based on the subject of coronavirus. In the trailer, we see a horror movie set up with a girl coughing profusely in her room making her dad worried.

The 4 minute long trailer takes us into a house where one of the members is coughing incessantly. Lit like an RGV cave, shot like many films from his oeuvre, the wide-angle camera shots, and the thumping, suspenseful music, buzzing flies, the universe is flooded with his iconography. The trailer ends with tragedy, but we don’t know what that is, or what it entails.
