Amala Akkineni comes back after 30 years

Amala Akkineni has returned to the Tamil industry after a gap of almost 30 years. The actress turned social activist will be seen with a Dream Warrior Pictures’ production, a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu, where she portrays the role of actor Sharwanand’s mother.

The 52-year-old actress was last seen in a cameo role in Akkineni’s family-drama Manam. Sharwanand’s film will mark her comeback to Tollywood as well after a gap of five years.

Now, actor Sharwanand has taken to his social networking page to reveal that he is eager to get back on sets of the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures.

This as-yet-untitled film is being directed by Shree Karthick and bankrolled by SR Prabhu.
