NCB opposes bail pleas of Rhea

The cases and arrests came in the wake of the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June this year. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has alleged that the drugs were procured for consumption by Rajput as well.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has opposed the bail pleas filed by actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty in the Bombay High Court following their arrest in a drugs case related to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

The NCB made the submission on Tuesday to justify the invocation of Section 27A of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act against film actor Rhea Chakrabory and four others in relation to alleged drug procurement for late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
