Will Tollywood face drugs controversy once again?

Film industries across India are under scanner for drugs usage. Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested Bollywood actor Rhea Chakraborty and in a shocking twist, names of Sara Ali Khan, Rakulpreet Singh and others have also emerged. Already Kannada film industry is under scanner and two of its popular heroines Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjana have been arrested. Now even Tollywood is worried about the drugs cases.

Already several Tollywood actors and technicians were under scanner for drugs and narcotics consumption. In 2017 Telangana Police interrogated celebrities like Raviteja, Navadeep, Tarun, Charmer, Puri Jagannath and others, but were later announced as clean. However with Rakulpreet Singh’s name springing up, once again Tollywood is worried. Rakulpreet is a star heroine in Telugu film industry and has lot of high profile connections.
