Re-release time for PM Narendra Modi movie

Have you heard of a re-release of a movie? In these days of satellite television and OTT mania, movie audiences are oblivious to the trend of re-release. But in older days, hit movies used to be re-released after the initial run. But slowly that trend faded with the onslaught of TV channels and other entertainment media. Now PM Narendra Modi movie makers are reminding that trend by re-releasing this biopic.

As theatres are opening up after a long lockdown, PM Narendra Modi movie makers decided to re-release it on October 15. They are publicising it as the first movie to be played in theatres after the theatres are re-opened. PM Modi biopic was first released in May 2019. But it did not create an impact at the box office, though Modi has a huge army of bhakts. But makers of Modi biopic are expecting a better run this time, due to the changed political climate in the country. Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi is acting as PM Narendra Modi in this biographical drama. Omung Kumar directed it.
