WIll RGV stop making “Disha Encounter”?

It is known that the most controversial film director Ram Gopal Varma is making a movie on the real life sensational national news of rape and murder case of Disha which took place in Telangana,titled as “Disha Encounter”. RGV is filming the real life tragedy of a young doctor who was brutally gangraped and murder in 2019.

The family of Disha on Friday filed a petition with the Telangana High Court seeking the court’s intervention. The family sought the court to order the Centre, state government and Censor Board to restrain the release of the film by director Ram Gopal Varma. The counsel for the petitioner sought a ban on the film.

Responding to the case,the director took to twitter and wrote :With regard to speculations on DISHA ENCOUNTER film I once again want to clarify it’s a fictional story based upon many cases from Nirbhaya rape onwards.

However, it remains to be seen whether RGV continues to do so or will stop making it.
