Won’t allow to shift Bollywood from Mumbai: Maha CM

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray warned that they won’t allow anyone to shift base of Bollywood from Mumbai. According to him, the Mumbai is not only the financial capital to India but also the capital of entertainment in the country. It is producing great movies and entertaining the world.

After the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, there have been controversies going on about Bollywood and its stars. The Shivsena-led Maharashtra government is suspecting a coup regarding this.

The BJP-led Uttar Pradesh Government has recently announced a Film City project to encourage the bollywood industry there in that state.

So, feeling competition from UP, the Maratha leader has sent a serious warning to the people who are wantedly creating confusion and bad image about Bollywood.

The Maharashtra CM further said that they will soon allow cinema theatres in the state and the concerned department is formulating the necessary guidelines in this regard.
