Don’t look for vaccine, says Balakrishna

Tollywood superstar and MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna, who commands a huge fan following among Telugu movie watching audience, made interesting comments in COVID-19 vaccine on Monday. He said that Coronavirus vaccine will not come anytime soon and instead of looking for vaccine, people should follow other preventive precautions to keep the deadly virus away. Nandamuri Balakrishna stressed that people should learn to live with Coronavirus as it is here to stay for long. Nandamuri Balakrishna made this comment while launching a small movie by a youthful team ‘Sehari’ in Hyderabad. 

Nandamuri Balakrishna is a very big star in Telugu film industry and is counted among the most influential people in the industry. He also has a political angle to his persona. He won from Hindupur constituency as MLA for the second term, though his party TDP faced a rout in last general elections. Balayya Babu, as Balakrishna is fondly called by his fans, is also well versed about health and medical issues. He looks after the activities of Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, which was set up in memory of his mother. Many health experts have also expressed the same view expressed by Balakrishna on COVID-19 vaccine.
