High Court issues notice to RGV

Telangana High Court issued notice to Ram Gopal Varma in connection with Disha Encounter movie. Disha’s father has approached High Court urging it to stop release of Disha Encounter movie as it is causing further agony to the family members of Disha, who are already shattered. HC took up the petition and issued notice to RGV in this issue.

However High Court asked Disha’s father as to why he approached Court, though Censor Board is yet to clear the movie. For this query, Disha’s father replied that RGV had already released the trailer and teasers of the movie on social media, and these promotions have been causing their family members pain and grief. Responding on this, HC issued notice to RGV seeking explanation.

While controversy is raging over Disha Encounter movie, RGV is going on with his preparations to release the movie on November 26. It was exactly on this date, a year ago, the ghastly incident of Disha’s rape and murder occurred.
