Dirty Picture actress dies under mysterious circumstances

Arya Banerjee, the actress who has done the role of adult star Shakeela in Dirty Picture movie, died under mysterious circumstances in Kolkata. She was found dead in her apartment on Saturday. She was 33 and was living alone. The untimely death of Arya Banerjee left Bollywood and movie lovers in shock. The reasons for her death are not known and Kolkata Police have launched an investigation to find the actual reason behind her death. Police are making efforts to find out whether it is a suicide or natural death or any foul play involved.

Arya Banerjee is the daughter of late Sitar player Nikhil Banerjee. Though she got trained in music initially, she chose acting as profession and was slowly building her career. She shot to fame with adult star Shakeela role in Dirty Picture. Tallented star Vidya Balan played the role of Silk Smitha in this hit flick. Arya Banerjee was able to gain attention of audience, though she shared space with very tallented Vidya Balan in the movie. Arya Banerjee was said to be good at singing and dancing and was considered tallented actress by her friends and colleagues.
