‘Uppena’ movie has Erased 21 Years Old All-Time Records

Mega family hero Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty introduced in the lead roles in the movie ‘Uppena’. Buchibabu Sana is introduced as the new director in this movie. The film was released on February 12 in theatres.

On the first day, the movie earned a record share of Rs 10.42 crore worldwide. It has been still going strong in terms of collections. It has collected Rs 50 crore so far and created a Tsunami of collections at a record level, breaking all records so far.

Ram Charan is the highest-grossing debut hero in Tollywood.
It is learned that Charan was introduced to the industry with the 2007 ‘Chirutha’ movie directed by Puri Jagannath. The film has grossed over 25 crores. But no one has been able to touch that record for 14 years. But now incidentally another heir from the mega family has completely wiped out the ‘Chirutha’ collections. The movie ‘Uppena’ has broken even Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan’s records also.

Hrithik Roshan’s debut film ‘Kaho Naa Pyar Hai’ has grossed Rs 41 crore (net) across India. But ‘Uppena’ has now broken the record that has been set 21 years ago in the history of Indian cinema. Within five days of its release, the net had grossed over Rs 42 crore and set new records.
