Review: Yuddham Sharanam: Logic Less War
Yuvasamrat Naga Chaitanya’s “Yuddam Saranam” which is created under the banner of Vaarahi Chalana Chitram and directed by Krishna R.V.Mari Muthu and produced by Rajani Korrapati. Senior hero Srikanth has acted in a negative shade. Lavanya Tripathi shared the screen with Naga Chaitanya.
This is the film following super hits of Prema and Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam and raised expectations on Chaitu. Let us see how Chaitu could succeed.
Story
Arjun (Naga Chaitanya) lives happily with his parents (Rao Ramesh and Revathi). Arjun works as a drone designer. His parents being doctors keep serving the poor people through a NGO.
Arjun falls in love with Anjali (Lavanya Tripathi) when she works as an intern in the NGO. His parents give green signal to his love.
At this happy juncture, his parents die. He realizes that a politician is responsible for their death. To know whether Arjun takes revenge, the reason for murder of his parents, what happens to the love of Arjun and Anjali, you need to watch on the movie on screen.

Cast and Performance
Naga Chaitanya is trying to spread his wings to become a versatile hero apart from being a romantic hero. He is ensuring that his stories also have some action elements too. He proved his versatality in Rarandoi Veduka Chooddam. In Yuddam Saranam also he lived in his character and done complete justice. He excelled in action scenes in taking revenge on villains.
Revathi’s acting needs a special metion as she lived in the characters of an educated home maker, responsible wife, good mother and a social worker who always strives for society.
Rao Ramesh is exemplary in communicating the values of father and son bondage.
Though Lavanya Tripathi’s role is restricted to first half and once or twice in the second, she glittered in her glamour quotient and gets good marks.
Pelli choopulu fame Priya Darshi again sizzled with his sensible comedy. He could have been used in second half also so that dragging episodes could have been made more enticing.
Yesteryear’s hero Srikanth was left with very less scope to prove his skills. He could have been used better.
A noted hero Vinod kumar visible as a villian has acted well.

Technical
David.R.Natarajan didn’t concentrate much on the story line and glimpses of Sahasam Swasa ga Sagipo are felt.
Music and RR of Vivek Sagar are disappointing.
Photography of Niketh is oK.
Rajani Korrapati has given ultimate quality in production.
Krishna Mari Muthu failed in screenplay and the first half is full of romance and second being revenge drama. Logic also seems to be missing at many places. Srikanth and Vinod kumar have been under utilised. Dragging scenes will certainly make audience bored.
Telugumirchi Analysis
Nothing special to mention other than Chaitu’s acting, cinematography and richness. If you are OK without a decent story and can pass the time for Lavanya Tripathi and Chaitu, you may try going this weekend.
