Shruthi Hassan teams up with Pawan Kalyan again

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan indeed had a dhamaka comeback with Vakeel Saab. The movie’s recent poster and song release have left his fans gushing, and as per rumours, South diva Shruti Haasan might join the team soon. If she does, she will be essaying the role of the Power Star’s wife and Her cameo will be shown in the flashback sequence of the courtroom drama.

Unlike the original Pink, the Telugu remake Vakeel Saab will have a song and a romantic episode for the protagonist that is being played by Pawan Kalyan. The film’s story and screenplay will remain faithful to Pink but the Telugu version also needs to cater to the image of Pawan Kalyan.

Shruti and Kalyan have earlier worked in movies like Gabbar Singh and Katamarayudu. Though Katamarayudu received mixed reactions from the audience, Gabbar Singh was a blockbuster and fans have appreciated the duo’s chemistry. The makers of Vakeel Saab are planning to recreate their magic on the screens.

Vakeel Saab is based on a courtroom drama and is being produced by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. The movie is slated to release on May 15.
