Sukumar wants to trim down the film

Sai Dharam Tej’s younger brother Panja Vaishnav Tej is making his debut in Telugu film Industry with an upcoming film Uppena, which is touted to be a romantic drama and has Kriti Shetty in the female lead role. The movie Uppena was launched in February last year in a grand manner and several bigwigs from the industry made their presence felt at the event.

 It was slated to hit the theaters in March but the makers postponed the release due to coronavirus outbreak.

Sources say that Sukumar sat at the editing table and is working to finalize the final cut of the movie. The full length of this film is more than 2 and a half hours after the final edit. So to fine-tune the film and reduce the length, some episodes are getting scissored.

We need to see when he and Mythri Movie Makers will decide on the release date of the film.
