Review: Jaya Janaki Nayaka – mass overloaded

B & C Centres audience aka mass audience eagerly await Boyapati Srinivas movies. He is a specialist in transforming class heroes into mass heroes. Allu Arjun has turned to mass hero with Sarracino. This Friday, Jaya Janaki Nayaka has hit the screens with Bellamkonda Srinivas as producer and Boyapati as director. This film is released worldwide. Let us see how the class titles movie appeared to be.

Story :

Gagan (Bellamkonda Srinivas) is a fun loving guy and lives happily with Chakravarthi (Sarath Kumar) and brother (Nandu). To add more sweetness to his life Sweety (rakul Preet Singh) enters. Their friendship turns to love. Sweety meets with an accident and all her happy and carefree life turns into a scary and mysterious life. The story revolves around the situations of how Gagan supports her and how she could come after it. If you watch on the screen you will come to know about the danger which Sweety is in? Who is Aswant Narayana (Jagapathi Babu)? and all.

Cast & Performance :

It is a known fact that Boyapati films are more of action element along with the hero. He has got the ability to turn any class hero to mass hero with ease. The same happened with Bellam Konda Srinivas. He improvised a lot in fights and dances when compared to his previous films. He was OK in action but emotional scenes he failed to involve himself. He needs to work out more on dialogues too.

Rakul Preet Singh has justified her role assigned by the director. The whole movie turns on her and she stands as a focus light. She can be given good marks for glamour show either.

Sarath Kumar has embedded himself in Chakravarthi’s role. His short stint with Srinivas and emotional output have worked out well.

Role designated for Jagapathi Babu is well appreciated by the audience. JB is seen very stylish.

Tarun Arora, Nandu, Vani Viswanath have performed well within their limits. Pragna Jaiswal and Catherine have grabbed the love of audience in their special songs.

Technical :

Devi Sri Prasad’s music has lifted the range of this flick. All songs are impressive. The highlight of the music has been the background score. Lyrics of Veede Veede song are quite good.

Second half being completely focusing on action scenes, the class audience has to bear with patience. B & C center audience would connect well. Production quality is very rich. Producer’s investment is clearly visible in each and every frame on the screen. Huge casting, huge action scenes, and chasing elements have been well stitched together.

Boyapati has improved on his mass creation skills. He is the only unique director who can transform class into mass. All from inside “Voora Mass” can be better witnessed. The full film will be action filled but second half is a bit more flooded with action scenes. The audience will have a certain beating on this. Despite having a story and a good line, he couldn’t show it on the screen to the core.

Analysis :

The story revolves around a girl seeking help to save herself and a young man who helps her. Boyapati tried to weave a action packed movie with love story. Priority of action scenes will overtake that of love story.

Director gives a good twist towards the interval after the first half of a love story and romantic songs. He takes us into the actual story from the second half only. Pre-climax and climax scened would impress us. Without an interesting comedy, one would feel bored. Catherine’s item song is not necessary at all. It is just kept to fill in the gap of an item song.

Overall Jaya Janaki Nayaka is a perfect mass fit with a weak love story.
