Review: Lie – Carry logic with you and watch
Nithin is coming with Lie movie after his successful flick AAa. Hanu Raghavapudi has proved his directional excellence with Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha has joined 14 reels productions with a huge expectation.
Nitin’s brand new look, locations of America shoots and Action King Arjun as the villain are three factors which brought in a lot of expectations before release. Let us go deep and see up to what extent this film could match.
Story :
Mumbai police are in search of a most wanted criminal Padmanabham (Arjun). They get clues that he is hiding in America and a team reaches there. A Satyam (Nithin) is crazy of America and wishes to settle down in Vegas by marrying an American. In this trial, he gets closer to Chaitra (Megha Akash). She is also a crazy woman with aims to mint money in gambling and casinos of Vegas. They both go to Vegas. What happens in Vegas? Who is Satyam? Why Police are behind Padmanabhan? Will the police be successful in nabbing him? These all twists and story are best suitable to watch on the screen only.
Positives :
– Performances of Nithin & Arjun
– Twists in the story
– Background music of Mani Sharma
– Narration
– Locations and Cinematography

Negatives :
– Song situations are too bad
– Missing of logic at many places
– Dragging Second Half
Cast & Performance
– Nithin with a super hit under his belt with AAA is sizzling in his appearance. He perfectly could match the expectations of his fans in this movie.
Despite being a debut for Megha Akash, she exhibited skills equal to a senior actress. Her glamour also is quite impressive. Love track between Megha and Nithin is awesome.
Most wanted criminal role of Action King Arjun is the highlight of Lie. Even at this age, he appeared so stylish and he could just act with great ease and naturality.
Sriram, Ravikiran, Prudhvi, Brahmaji, and others have acted perfectly to their roles.
Technical :
Mani Sharma got a chance for a big budget film after many days. He made this picture awestruck with his background music.
The cinematography of Yuvraj is impressive. He captured all the beauties of America’s location with his amazing legwork and creativity. He completely added a fresh flavor to the film.
Producers Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta and Anil Sunkara of 14 Reels have given priority to fashion in Lie. They have not compromised in getting the best shots and locations and were successful in bringing new life with rich production values.
Director Raghavapudi needs a special mention as he already carried a “Talented” tag with Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha. He increased the curiosity quotient in Lie with periodic twists. He maintained the suspense of Hero’s link and the major twists of the film till the end. This created much anxiety. A few scenes were in a serious mood and will leave the audience a bit bored in the second half. At some occasions, he missed some sensible logic too.
Analysis :
Lie movie will connect with the multiplex audience. Director Hanu Raghavapudi tried to bring Lie closer to all genres of the audience but he missed out at times. He could sculpt the roles of each character very smartly. There was not much of scope for Heroine character. He made the screenplay interesting with introducing some twists in interval and climax.
Apart from amazing locations, If you wish to enjoy Lie movie completely, you need to carry a little load of logic with you.
